Review & Swatches - OPI Burlesque Collection

I went to Chatter's today looking for the OPI Burlesque Collection and I was in luck because they had just, and I mean just gotten it in. Seriously, the delivery truck was pulling out of the parking lot as I was pulling in. And, since I'm well known there (because I buy ridiculous amounts of nail polish), the girls working knew exactly what I was looking for so they were nice enough to actually find the boxes with Burlesque in them and open everything for me. I was ecstatic!

I don't really have the time to do full swatches of the entire collection so I decided to just use a nail wheel to show you swatches.

The formula of these were what I have come to expect from OPI so I was not let down at all there. All of the above swatches are 3 coats but for most of the non-glitters you could get away with only 2.

I didn't use a top coat over any of the swatches so the bumpy texture of the glitters would be easily remedied with a quick layer of top coat.

The glitters are the same formula as the glitters that came out with the Alice in Wonderland Collection earlier this year so if anyone missed out on those, these might satisfy your need for superglitter!

Also, since all of the glitters have a clear base they would be great for layering if you use only 1 coat.

Overall, I'm super pleased with this collection and I love each and every colour!

  1. I still can't decide how I feel about this collection! The glitters are so pretty but such a pain to remove!
