St. Patrick's Day Nail Art - Leprechaun Hat

Good afternoon!

Today I have the first design in this year's St. Patrick's Day series! There'll only be a couple of designs for this series but hopefully it'll be enough to give you all some ideas for your own Paddy's Day nails!

For this design I was only planning to do the colour blocking that you see on all the nails except my ring finger. But as the manicure evolved, I decided to take it a step further and I made the ring nail look like a little leprechaun hat!

China Glaze - Liquid Leather (black accents)
OPI - I Get a Kick Out of Gold! (gold accents)
Orly - Green Apple (clover)

  4. This is too cute! And it doesn't look too hard, I could try this :)

  5. so adorable, I luv it! :)

  6. I've been doing TONS of St Patrick's Day nail art and never once thought to do a leprechaun hat!! You ROCK! I love this!

  7. How cuteee! We don't have that day here... anyway, your nails look perfect!

  8. Aww this is absolutely adorable !

  9. So fricking cute...simple and adorable!

  10. Super adorable, I love it! Did you use a dotting tool or a nail art brush to make the clover?

  11. Thanks everyone!

nailspark: I used a dotting tool for the clover itself and a nail art brush for the stem. :)

    1. It's so cute though, good jobbbb! I loves it.

  12. Very cute. I have all my 'appropriate' greens out right now trying to decide what 2 I am going to be using this week. I got in on the Zoya special last year - $5 for 3 greens - no postage. It sold out ASAP. I got in but they back ordered me and mine came long after St. Patty's day. In the time since Patty '11, I really have learned to embrace green polishes - before that did not get into them but for the olives. All you bloggers got my mind open wider. I think your picking Jade is the New Black was a stunning choice for your green. It was a green I bought long before I learned to really embrace greens.

  13. Soooo cute! I love st Patricks day! I think the simple designs are the best sometimes. :)

  14. omg omg omg So cute! I'm going to have to try this! Love it. New follower here. Great stuff!

  15. I love this! I actually did my own spin on this and credited you in my blog post. Here's the post
