Featured Blog - May: Nailed It

Hey guys!

Sorry I'm late posting May's featured blog! I've even had the blog I'm featuring chosen since last month, but I've just had so much going on lately!

Anyways, the featured blog I've chosen for May is one that I've been following and enjoying for a while now - Nailed It. This blog is what I call an "all-around" type of nail blog, meaning that the author does a bit of everything - swatching, reviews, freehand nail art, stamping nail art, tutorials, etc. These types of blogs are my favourite ones because there's always something new and fresh to look at.

Aside from the variety in her posting, Katy's photos are really clear and consistent and you can tell that she takes good care of her nails. Furthermore, her nail art - whether freehand or stamping - is always well executed. And it might sound a little weird, but I really like the thumb ring she's wearing in a lot of her photos! Even in her watermark wasn't on her photos, I would always know that the photo is hers because of that thumb ring!

One of my favourite posts by her is coincidentally the nail art that she entered in my nail art contest! I really loved her bold design and so did my judges!



And then there's this peacock design which I also really love (obviously, considering my blog design)! And, it uses one of my favourite polishes ever (Illamasqua Load) as the base colour. How could I not love this design?!
