Today I have a really simple and girly dotted manicure to show you!
When I sat down to paint my nails last night, I wanted something light and fresh, but still fun and interesting. I didn't have any real idea in mind, but I picked out some colours that I thought worked well together, and this peachy polka dot design was born!
To create this dotted design, I started with a base of Illamasqua Purity - a beautiful pale peach creme. This polish was actually a gift from my friend Rebecca a while back! It's a great shade and I'm really happy to have it in my collection.
After my base was just about dry, I used a couple of different sized dotting tools to create a variety of dots on all of my nails. The colours I used for the dots include China Glaze Peachy Keen, Wet 'n' Wild French White and OPI My Address is "Hollywood".
I actually found that My Address is "Hollywood" was a tad too dark for the look I was going for, so I mixed in a bit of white to lighten it a bit. I was much happier with that look.
I hope you enjoyed today's simple nail art design!
