So today is tribal print and I'll be honest, I wasn't very excited about it at first.
Tribal nail art has been on my to-do list for a really long time, but I always end up skipping it because I can never decide on the colour combination to use! However, thanks to this challenge, I was forced to finally pick a colour scheme and just do the tribal print once and for all. Well I'm very happy to report that I'm very much in love with how this mani turned out!
To make choosing my colours easier, I decided to stick with one collection - in this case the China Glaze On Safari Collection. I went with that one because I figured that tribal print/safari theme sort of go together. Sort of.
The base colour for this mani is China Glaze Kalahari Kiss and the black detailing was done with the It's So Easy Stripe Rite Paint in Black. The other colours shown in my print are China Glaze Exotic Encounters (the teal) and China Glaze Purr-fect Plum (the berry). The actual print is completely random and I just made it up as I went from nail to nail.
So that's sixteen down, only fifteen more to go! How did I do with my first tribal mani?
And I'll be back tomorrow with some glitter nails!
