First off, welcome to the Christmas themed version of Nails by Kayla Shevonne! I spent the majority of my day yesterday working on it, and I've got to say, I'm pretty proud of it! What do you think?
Anyways, I've had these photos sitting in my "to post" queue for way too long because I was planning to include them in an indie swatch spam post. But that's not likely to be happening very soon, so I just decided to go ahead and give them their own post today.
These three Lush Lacquer polishes were part of their new collection that they released back in August. Luckily, Lush Lacquer still has all of these in stock, so despite my late posting, they're all still available for purchase.
Color Me Gray is a light grey jelly polish with a mix of different sizes and colours of matte glitter. The dominant colours of the glitter seem to be the red, yellow and blue, but there's also some purple and white in there as well. Here's I'm showing two coats over Zoya Carey. The formula was good and I didn't have to do any fishing to get a good glitter payoff.
Oopsie Daisy is a pale blue jelly base with multi-colour and multi-size hex glitters as well as larger yellow flower shaped glitters. I layered two coats of this one over Color Club Take Me To Your Chateau and for the most part the formula was good, but I did have to fish to get some of the flower glitters.
Slumber Party is a clear base with tiny black and white glitter, medium blue and purple hexes and larger pink square glitters. For some reason I didn't write down in my swatch notes what I layered this over, but I think it might have been China Glaze Bizarre Blurple. I did write down that this is one coat and the formula was easy to work with and that it had good glitter payoff. This one is definitely my favourite of these three!
Lush Lacquer polishes can be purchased via Lush Lacquer's Etsy shop. The full size bottles (15ml) are $8.75 USD each. They can also be purchased in the mini (5 ml) sizes.
