China Glaze Tronica Water Marble

Hi everyone!

A few of you might remember that the theme for day 20 of the 31 Day Challenge was the water marble. On that day I actually created two water marbles and then chose one to post as my official day 20 mani. Well, the one I'm showing you today is the one that I rejected.

I really liked this water marble by Colette of My Simple Little Pleasures, so I set out to recreate it. However, because she's the queen of water marbling, mine of course didn't turn out near as well as hers, which is why I rejected it as my day 20 mani. It's not too bad though, especially when it's not compared to hers!

The colours I used here are China Glaze Electra Magenta, China Glaze High Def and China Glaze Laser Lime, all of which are from the Spring 2011 Tronica Collection.

The Tronica Collection was a disappointment for a lot of people because it was expected to be more like the linear holos of the OMG Collection. Instead, they were more of a scattered and dull holo. Nonetheless, I snapped a flash photo to show off that finish for you.
