4 Nail Art Looks Using the butter LONDON 2013 Summer Holiday Bespoke Collection (+Giveaway!)

Hi guys!

Today's post is an exciting one! I have the new butter LONDON Summer 2013 Collection to share with you! This collection isn't officially going to be released until April 15th, but butter LONDON Canada was generous enough to send me the full set to create some nail art looks with. I told you guys a bit ago that butter LONDON is my new brand crush, so you can imagine this got me pretty excited!

And on top of that, they've also provided me with an opportunity to host a giveaway so that one lucky reader can win their very own set!

First, let's talk a little about the collection. The Bespoke Collection features six shades, all of which were tailor-made to pop against sun-kissed skin. We're so used to seeing bright neon shades during the summer that it's really different and cool to see a brand look at summer polish in a whole different light.

And now let's take a look at some of the nail art looks I created using these shades!

First up, I attempted to recreate the look of a beautiful turquoise stone. Here's a link to a photo of one in case you're not sure what it looks like. The process for creating this look was super simple. I started with one coat of butter LONDON Bit Faker, a coppery brown full coverage glitter. On top of that, I added a coat of butter LONDON Poole, a beautiful turquoise creme. While that was still wet, I used small wads of plastic wrap to dab away some of the colour. This allowed some of Bit Faker to poke through, which resulted in this cool textured turquoise stone look. I didn't add top coat to this one because I wanted to retain the textured look.

My next look started with a base of butter LONDON Sunbaker, a burnished, fiery orange with golden shimmer. I then used butter LONDON Marbs, a rich, warm golden shimmer and butter LONDON Bobby Dazzler, a metallic pewter to create a gradient of polka dots.

My third nail art design started with a base of butter LONDON Marbs with an accent nail of butter LONDON Bit Faker. On the non-accent nails I added a v-gap using Bit Faker.

My final look began with a base of butter LONDON Champers, a rose gold/champagne shimmer. I let that dry completely and then used striping tape to tape off random sections of each nail. I used butter LONDON Poole to paint over each nail and then carefully removed the pieces of tape. What was left was this cool laser stripe mani!

The butter LONDON Summer Holiday Bespoke Collection will be officially released on April 15th, 2013. Each shade will retail for $17 and can be purchased from the butter LONDON Canada website. If you're in the US, you can purchase the collection from the butter LONDON US site.

All of the polishes from the collection applied beautifully and none required more than two coats. In fact, a couple are one-coaters. My personal favourites are Bit Faker, Poole and Sunbaker.

So now that you've gotten a look at the shades, here's your chance to win the full collection!
Note: this giveaway has been sponsored by butter LONDON Canada, so it is only open to residents of Canada. All other rules for the giveaway can be found below in the "Terms and Conditions" section of the Rafflecopter form.

    1. Thank you! :) And basically, I lined all the shades up to see what sort of inspiration would hit me, and those two colours were next to each other. I was reminded of the colours of a turquoise stone, so I googled some images and then tried to think of how I could recreate the look!
