I'm ending Texture Week with a final textured nail art look. And this is a pretty fun one.
My fiance David absolutely loves Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I don't dislike it myself, but it's definitely not my go-to cereal (Corn Pops, baby). So as he was munching on some recently, I had the sudden urge to translate it into a nail art design! And with the current texture trend in full swing, I knew exactly how to pull it off.
I started with a base of Zoya Godiva from the first PixieDust Collection. I knew a PixieDust polish would work well for the base colour because the glitter is very fine and sugar-like, which is perfect for this look.
Once that had dried down, I used a striping brush to add random swirls and stripes with OPI What Wizardry Is This?, the one and only Liquid Sand polish from the Great & Powerful Oz Collection. It's actually the only shade I picked up from the collection, which is why you never saw swatches. OPI Honey Ryder from the Bond Girls Collection could have also worked for this look, but I think Godiva was the better choice.
The colours might not be an exact match, but the overall effect is still there for sure!
Now that we're on the topic, what's your favourite cereal? Let me know in the comments! And thanks for stopping by!
