Love Thy Polish Swatches

Today I have a new to this blog brand to share with you! It's called Love Thy Polish (cute name, right?) and it's an Australian indie brand. Let's get straight to some pretty swatches, shall we?

Bella Donna is a deep royal blue jelly with lots of blue flakes throughout. There's so much depth in this polish! I'm a fan. The formula was really great and I used three coats for my photos.

Drained is a deep raspberry jelly with ruby red glitter. In the bottle, this one looks like a black base with red glitter, but I like it much more like this because I already have a few black/red glitter polishes. The formula was super easy to work with and I used two coats of Drained for my swatch below.

Eggshell is a pale milky yellow with lilac, white and black glitter pieces throughout. The base colour of this one reminds me a lot of one of my all-time favourite polishes, Illamasqua Load, so this was already an instant favourite. Add the pretty glitter and I'm definitely sold. The formula was surprisingly good for this colour (yellows are notoriously on the difficult side)! It was a teeny bit patchy so I used three coats to even everything out.

He Lives In You consists of a blue-grey base with red, blue and white glitter. This is my personal least favourite of the bunch, just because I always find that shades like this don't seem to be very flattering on me. I think that greys, unless they're super dark greys, tend to wash me out. However, this is a fun polish and I would like it if I thought it worked on me. The formula was good and I used three coats for my photos.

No Ordinary Teddy Bear is a red-magenta jelly base with red and silver glitter. Hello, gorgeous! This is such a pretty shade! The formula was excellent and I used three coats for my photos.

Rhiannon is a deep green with heavy green and gold microflakes. It's no secret that I love green polish, but give it this rich sparkle and I'm definitely sold. The formula was superb and I used three coats below.

Shangri-La is a peachy nude linear holo. Wow, this baby is SUPER holo. Even in the natural lighting pic you can see the holo rainbows! The formula was excellent and I've shown three coats below.

The Only Snow in Town consists of a very pale blue base with tiny green and silver glitter throughout. This was a surprise favourite for me! There's something very calm and serene about this one that I really love. The formula was really great and I found that three coats provided the best result.

Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with these polishes. The formula was great on all of them and there's a really great variety of colours and finishes just among these eight alone.

Love Thy Polish shades can be purchased through the Love Thy Polish web store. The full size (12ml) and mini size (8ml) polishes retail for $9.50 and $6.50 AUD, respectively. For orders outside of Australia, visit Mei Mei's Signatures, who ships worldwide.
