Pick My Wedding Nails! Choice #2 - Delicate Stamped Lace

Good morning!

Today I have another possible wedding mani to share with you! If anyone missed the info in the first post, I'll give you a quick recap: I'm getting married next month and I want you guys to help me choose my bridal manicure. I'll be posting a few designs during the month (the first choice has already been posted here) and then when I've posted them all, I'll ask you all to pick your favourite.

The next choice includes something I haven't done in a very long time - stamping! It's seriously been a year since my last stamping post! Wow.

See more photos and get a rundown of all the products used after the jump.

For this very feminine design, I started with a base of OPI I Think in Pink which is from OPI's 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Duo. Speaking of which, I should have swatches up soon of the 2013 duo! I Think in Pink is a great choice because it's not totally opaque, yet not super sheer either; It provides a really soft coverage with two coats.

Once that was completely dry, I used Konad Special Polish in White and stamped on the lacy floral pattern from BM-306 onto all of my nails. I let that dry for just a minute and then applied a coat of Seche Vite.

Although I'm really loving this stamped design (it's definitely a front runner for me), I'm thinking I might prefer it over a more nude base colour. Perhaps OPI Step Right Up! which I used in the Choice #1 design? Maybe I'll try that out as one of the future choices.

More to come!

  1. I love OPI I Think In Pink!!

Having said that, I think the first french mani would compliment your dress/ring more... ♡
    The simpler, the better!! xx

  2. Honestly, although this is pretty it's almost TOO feminine. It makes me think little girl more than bride! Maybe it would stand out more over nude, but I'm liking the first combo better!

  7. I would definitely like to see it stamped over the nude base. I just feel the pink would really pop (and maybe not in the way you would want it to) against a white dress. It's a different story if light pink is one of your colors.

  8. Depends on your wedding colours! I like the idea, maybe in a different combo. I did a soft white (OPI Don't Touch My Tutu) with silver stamping for a friend's wedding and it was really pretty.

I really adore this pink polish- I haven't tried it yet but it's waiting for its turn!

  13. Gorgeous mani! However, I love the first option more. I think both are really nice though.

  14. I LOVE this as a wedding mani - the tulips are special, while roses were too much in my opinion. But it really depends on the dress. If the dress has a pattern of lace or embroidery, it has to match the stamping pattern.
