Animal print: my go-to nail art choice when I'm feeling uninspired. Luckily, I never tire of a fun animal print mani!
One of my clients recently brought me a photo that she found on Pinterest of a similar design using pink, black and white. We did that on her nails and I loved it so much that I just had to replicate it on my own nails. Sadly there was no watermark on the photo so I'm not sure where it originates from.
I used all China Glaze products to achieve this look. I first started with a base of China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer, a wonderful bright mint creme on all of my nails. Then I used a striper brush and China Glaze White on White to section off diagonal blocks on both my middle and pinky nails. While that dried, I got to work on the black zebra stripes and polka dots on my thumb (not shown), index and ring fingers using China Glaze Liquid Leather. Once those designs were complete, I went back to the white sections and added some zebra stripes over those. Finally, I added a coat of Seche Vite to finish the design.
Oh and here's what it looked like on her nails using pink instead of green! This is also done with gel as opposed to polish, and she also likes to have a slanted design instead of full nail designs because she finds it looks nicer that way when it's growing out in between appointments.
Thanks for stopping by!
